Killing the messenger

The US and European NATO-countries are emptying their warehouses in an attempt to stem the tide, as Ukraine is losing badly all along the frontlines, or so it seems. At the same time Blinken is in China to threaten the country with repercussions if it refuses to dump Russia by the wayside, and hand over ‘Tik-Tok’. Meanwhile, politicians in the west are moving against ‘X’ in order to silence free speech to ‘save democracy’. All of this comes across as desperation, even though the media are able to whip up plenty of support for this war against Russia on the territory of Ukraine.

Now, with every new day my own conviction that NATO was actively looking for this war, is becoming more rock-solid. John Mearsheimer is the ‘ultimate’ insider on this, and his description of policy makers consistently picking the wrong option if they were interested in avoiding this outcome, is extremely convincing. If you double down at every turn in a casino, you are either going to break the bank, or going broke. Previously NATO exhausted itself as far as the need for front-line equipment and ammo was concerned. And my reading of the present situation is that NATO reached the end of the line, with various sources in Europe saying that they do not have enough tanks, artillery or munition to last more than a few hours if Russia would decide to move into NATO territory. Forking the what is left over to Ukraine makes sense in that case, since a few hours, or a day, is not going to save their sorry ass.

Their ‘packages’ are light on stuff to help the Ukrainians on the front lines, because they have nothing left to give, and overweight on longer range weapons not suitable for defense, relying entirely on Russia’s stated goal of only taking those parts of Ukraine they think they may be able to provide with the feeling that they are right at home in the Russian Federation. No NAFO-propagandist is going to understand what I’m saying, ever. But believe me, the number of Ukrainians who woke up late, and feel betrayed by the west, which used them as a proxy in a failed attempt to regime change Russia, is only growing. I can’t put a number on it. But as with people who stop smoking cigarettes one day, and become fanatics in the fight to make it unlawful to smoke, while those who never touched those cancer-sticks are often far more lenient, don’t think, for a moment, that because someone was pretty nationalistic, and a true believer in the fairy tale that the Russians were the ‘Bad Guys’, means that they are reliable proxies till the light goes out. Go over the story of Al Qaeda to see what I mean.

Now, these new, or upgraded systems coming in, while crews who were trained on the older systems are pushing up daisies, or maimed, or turning into the enemy for NATO, it is unavoidable that NATO will have to man these systems themselves if they want them to become operational on short notice. If you understand what I’m saying, this initiative launched by Macron was born out of desperation and the realization that there would be no time to train new Ukrainian recruits, if they could be found at all. Zelensky’s ‘dogcatchers’ are roaming the streets in every major town to find the last remaining men to go and get shot, or bombed, with truly unsavory video’s on YouTube and elsewhere of how men resist, but you don’t give them the keys to your ATACMS, and wish them luck. NATO military going from a formally ‘advisory role’ to full engagement, and not as mercenaries either, is unavoidable under the circumstances.

In other words, NATO relies on what Putin has stated, and that he won’t move into NATO-countries, while they plan on using what is left of Ukraine as a launching pad for missiles hitting all kinds of targets in Russia, primarily to hurt their economy. This is what the entire NAFO-population on social media, and in the mainstream media, wants to see happening. Ukraine and the people get French-Fries and soothing words of compassion, but they can drop dead. The NAFO-crowd wants to see the ‘bonfires’ of burning oil refineries and the destruction of the Kerch bridge. Which brings me back to Mearsheimers disbelief, as those in charge of policy since the Clinton-years simply refused to listen to reason. These people are stark raving mad and extremely dangerous.

This poses a very serious dilemma for the Russians. How do you teach a bully that he or she is far from invulnerable? The best outcome in the short term would be a revolution in Ukraine, and a settlement which would deny NATO the use what is left of the country as a launching pad for offensive actions against Russian territory. I wouldn’t discard it as simply impossible, like I tried to make clear, while it would let Ukraine ‘live’, and with far more options than it will ever have as a beachhead for NATO, while Russia keeps pounding it, and NATO struggling to rebuild its industrial base, which race it already lost. Certainly with China by Russia’s side, and I cannot see them caving in to Blinken’s threats. So, what NATO is looking for, is what they call a ‘Frozen Conflict’, but they cannot afford to expose their own territory, so if Ukraine goes ‘rational’, and Georgia and Moldova refuse to become the next proxy, things look very bleak for NATO.

For now Russia will aim to shift its focus to the west of the country, destroying shipments as they cross the border, I guess. Not paying attention to the nationality of those accompanying those shipments, and if they are NATO soldiers, or civilians from NATO countries, too bad. This is a high stakes game comparable to that between Iran and Israel. The NAFO fanclub has no doubt whatsoever that as long as they stay together, they will win. But fanclubs are merely that: Fanclubs. They wave their tiny flags, cheer, and donate, preferably the money of others, but they have no clue. What is troubling me personally, is that those nitwits have this unsavory tendency to kill or silence the messenger. People like Mearsheimer, Sachs and undersigned (and many more) have only been trying to warn them. We’re not the enemy. They are. With friends like that, nobody needs enemies.
