Credible sources I use insist that the collective west simply doesn’t have the capacity to produce enough weapons and ammo for Ukraine to satisfy demand. The simple fact that the Czech president was declared a hero for finding shells in ‘third’ countries, while it may take another year for them to arrive as financing and logistics present a headache, make it sound like they have a point. Some day historians will ‘discover’ the ‘fine points’ of why it took the US many months to approve yet another ‘package’ to support their proxy, but I wouldn’t be surprised to learn that they previously ran out of stuff to send to Ukraine, and that they welcomed a delay they could blame on Trump.
We’ll have to see what will be in the package, but if it is only six months of shell production and the odd weapon system cranked out in extra time while they were mudslinging in Washington, as far as things on Ukraine’s wish list are concerned, that will be a huge embarrassment. Moreover, Ukrainian soldiers believing a huge supply is coming their way in a matter of days, may start to crank up the volume only to be left with nothing before the tap starts dripping again. From what I’m hearing, there will be Patriots, but nowhere near the number required to recreate a plausible air defense umbrella covering the most important sites from Russian missiles and drones. Brian Berletic in his video on the subject presented a quote from an ‘expert’ academic in a mainstream British publication, paid for her ‘analysis’ by Kings College, who maintained Patriots would be used to target FAB-ordnance gliding in on Ukrainian positions along the front-line, or what is left of it, as the Russians take one village after another. That is not going to happen, obviously. And it will be a real challenge to bring those systems into Ukraine and position them where Ukraine needs them most, since there is no air defense shield left, apparently. My guess is that they will try to protect some airfields if it is true that those F-16’s are on their way.
The NAFO-crowd on ‘X’, in the papers and on the telly went wild after the $61 billion package was finally approved, without knowing what would be in it yet. Now, understand that the secretary of war of the US said that fifty billion of the total package, which includes aid to Israel and Taiwan to piss off the Chinese, would go to the Military Industrial Complex in the US itself. To be used to replenish the dwindling stock-piles, and included are all kinds of aid with no ‘kinetic’ quality at all. By the looks of it, those weapon systems that will be included are meant to hit Russia, and screw the grunts on the front-lines, which actually does make sense, from a NATO perspective, if they reached the conclusion that this ground war is lost anyway, while Russia does not pose a threat to NATO itself. Using what will be left of Ukraine as a launching pad for missiles and drones harming Russia, without any risk to themselves, in line with the stated goal of Lloyd Austin to ‘bleed Russia white’.
Only one minor detail: The NATO-countries are hemorrhaging already, as rebuilding an arms industry from what has become a ‘boutique’, producing all kinds of ‘show-case’ pieces, tailor made and hugely expensive, is going to be extremely costly, and impossible with sufficient raw materials, of which there is an abundance in the ‘BRICS’-countries. Though the program may be masked by imposing the WEF-ideology of taking everything the people own, so they will be left with nothing, but grateful for a chance to help others, like Peter Singer promoted in the seventies as the only moral path, I suppose that will run into resistance sooner or later. Although I must admit that I never anticipated a situation like this, where 147 of 150 members of parliament in Holland are forking billions over to ‘Project Ukraine’, while we still have to pay the Covid-bill, and a wide array of other policy failures left behind by Mark Rutte and his team. So I could be mistaken.
In a comment I added to this discussion about the possible downing of an Israeli F-35 carrying a nuclear weapon I mentioned in my previous contribution, considered unlikely by Scott Ritter, I offered an explanation for the absence of a triumphant press-release from Russia and/or Iran if the story was true, saying that the Russians and the Iranians do not want any of these wars. They simply want those war-loving-criminals to buzz off and take a hike. They rightfully envision a bright future for their people if peace were to break out tomorrow, because due to the years of sanctions they were forced to become creative in finding solutions to become independent, with only China as a reliable friend. A return to normalcy and free trade would give them a head-start. While the de-industrialized west would be struggling. There is no longer a large demand of what the ‘entertainment-world’ produces, and as the US is moving to definitely steal all the Russian assets they ‘froze’, while demanding that China dumps ‘Tik-Tok’ in their lap, we’re entering a world where the lunatics run the asylum if you ask me. Blinken is set to visit China and demand that China cuts Russia loose, while handing over the rights to ‘Tik-Tok’, even as it stuffs Taiwan with billions in ‘aid’ for the next war. I have no crystal ball, but after Xi humiliated Ursula von der Leyen and Scholz on their visits to Beijing, I’d say Blinken would do better to stay in Washington and save the taxpayers and the climate the burden of yet another senseless ‘executive’ flight.
