This is not going to be an easy essay for me to write. Moments before Trump was supposed to impose massive tariffs on countries still trading with Russia, we got the news that Trump and Putin will meet eye to eye, in the UAE. Some kind of breakthrough is afoot, by the looks of it. A Russian spokesman revealed to reporters that the US offered a deal which looks like it is acceptable to Russia. That meeting may result in a follow-on meeting with Zelensky in attendance, suggesting that the deal will give Russia exactly what it wants, since the Russians are on record with conditions for such a meeting as the final phase of a settlement, requiring signatures.
Commentators in the ‘mainstream media’ and on ‘social media’ are speculating, or exposing ‘inside information’ to set the stage about what that deal might be. I do not have ‘inside information’ to share, but I do have some ‘insights’ which are not totally unique, but important to understand where this sudden change is coming from, and where it will lead us. To begin with, there are debates raging about who ‘blinked’. Was it Putin? Or was it Trump? Who set up this meeting in Moscow with Witkoff, Trump’s trusted New York colleague turned ‘special envoy’ to break the deadlock? My money is on Trump. But the ‘mainstream media’ are desperately trying to spin this development as Putin giving in, and begging the US to send Witkoff to Moscow to discuss the conditions for their surrender in the face of more sanctions and tariffs about to hit their friends in ‘BRICS’.
From where I’m standing the Russians are winning on the battlefield, and those sanctions and tariffs are a dud at best, and suicide if we focus on Europe. Let me remind you that even the Ukrainian spy-chief Budanov recently told the world that the future was dark for NATO and the EU, saying both would cease to exist if the war in Ukraine was lost. Scores of propagandists in the employ of NATO and the EU put lipstick on that pig, but the war is already lost if you are willing to come to terms with the fact that it *never* was a war of conquest, but a war of attrition from the very beginning. That is to say, right after Zelensky shredded the ‘Istanbul Accord’ on the ‘advice’ of Boris Johnson, Tony Blinken and a drone president unable to find the door to the White House from the garden, after landing there with his helicopter. Remember?
The imminent fall of Pokrovsk, and the creation of a Kupiansk ‘bypass’, while the Russians are apparently preparing to cross the Djnepr again, back to the Western shore at Kherson, with plenty of pain elsewhere, as Ukraine is mobilizing the elderly to serve in the army since they are out of men, underscore that I am correct about Ukraine losing the war. Because they, and NATO as their source for weapons and ammo, are attrited. Even Mark Rutte admitted that weapons production in *all* of NATO doesn’t even come close to what the Russians produce today. Neither do the Russians have any problems of signing new recruits by the thousands each and every month, while there is little or no appetite in Europe, or the US, to serve the imperialist NATO behemoth.
On this blog I wrote article after article to expose ‘The Plan’, which was born many decades ago, but was exposed in all its ‘glory’ back in 2007, when Putin went to Munich to talk at the NATO Security Conference, warning his ‘friends’ that further NATO expansion would lead to an armed conflict. He ‘begged’ them to avoid such a destructive outcome, and sit down to design a lasting security architecture for Europe. Promptly followed by NATO inviting both Georgia and Ukraine to join NATO. They ‘signaled’ that NATO was ‘not afraid’ of the Russians, which was a grave error, and cemented the Russian/Chinese alliance. There was no reason to be afraid of the Russians at the time, nor the Chinese, but it was clear that both countries would defend their ‘turf’, or die trying. NATO was convinced it would be the latter, because economic warfare would pull the rug from under that ‘Gasstation’ pretending to be a country. All they ever needed, was an excuse to impose ‘Sanctions form Hell’, and murderous tariffs. And for that purpose they regime changed Ukraine, to use it as a proxy, while dangling ‘NATO membership’ in front of its nose.
Now, fast forward to the present, since I’ve described everything that happened from that 2014 coup ad nauseam on these pages. NATO is cornered, and Trump ‘Doesn’t Like It!’, but he can’t do anything about it. Why?
NATO transformed itself into a ‘police force’ on a global scale, and a means to launder money on a massive scale through weapons procurement and trading ‘military secrets’, of which I gave an example in my article the day before yesterday. But there are many more examples. The integrity of the military and political leaders was a weak point, and I’m being polite. Sanctioning China, and more recently imposing murderous tariffs on that country failed, and had to be unwound almost immediately. Why? Because suddenly the Americans discovered that their entire arms industry depended on affordable ‘rare earth minerals’ from China. Reciprocating with cutting off the delivery of those minerals caused a panic in the US among the weapons producers, because even if they *wanted* to increase production, they couldn’t. Everything, from bullets, to JSF-fighter bombers, to night vision goggles required ‘rare earth minerals’ from China. Finding them elsewhere was technically possible, but at a steep price increase, while weapons produced in the West are already unaffordable as it is. Moreover, those mines would still have to be developed first. And as recorded, Ukraine just lost the mines they had to Russia in this war which was supposed to result in Russia going broke, and Putin being forced from power.
Those ‘Secondary Sanctions’ Lindsey Graham prepared were meant to ‘convince’ countries like China, India and Brazil to return to ‘Davos’, to the ‘Mighty Dollar’ and its slave-currencies in Europe and the UK, since the Russian ‘market’ was no match for what the US, the EU and the UK had to offer. China, nor India and Brazil gave an inch, and thus Trump has to find a way out. By giving in to Russia’s demands. But to sell it like a triumphant victory, since he stopped Russia from conquering all of Ukraine, and attacking Europe. Russia *never* wanted to conquer all of Ukraine, or attack Europe, but that was what we were told. And we swallowed that fiction, hook, line and sinker. Because the ‘mainstream media’ kept telling us that was that plan Russia had. It wasn’t, and still isn’t. What Russia wants as an outcome, has been crystal clear from the beginning, but they ‘upgraded’ their demands with territorial claims after Zelensky shredded the ‘Istanbul Accord’, and it is likely that they will get it. Four ‘Oblasts’, a neutral Ukraine, and an obligation by that country to hold elections and render it responsible from keeping the Nazi-factions at bay, while making Ukraine join the EU, so ‘Brussels’ will be left with rebuilding that utterly corrupt, and destroyed country. Why?
Because the ‘Collective West’ is coming to terms with the fact that they are holding the short end of the stick, after India responded to elevated tariffs as ‘punishment’ for buying Russian oil by deepening its ties to Russia, signing deals on trade, and turning away from buying US weapons, obtaining Russian weapon systems instead. Now, talk about serving ‘markets’. What about serving the people in India and China, as well as in the ‘Global South’, versus serving spoilt Neo-colonial countries like those in Europe and the US, which siphon off way too much of the profits of companies in China, India and elsewhere through ‘Regulatory Pressure’ and the costs of ‘banking’? We’re talking countries with billions upon billions of hard working people who *deserve* a break. Why on earth would they continue to lust for ‘hard labor’ to serve us? What do we have to offer?
Now, don’t get me wrong. No lack of powerful people in politics, and the military in our part of the world who *insist* that those ‘Gasstations’ and ‘Factories’ posing as countries should be taught a lesson. Nor do I maintain that Trump saw the light. But what Trump *did* discover, is that his ‘Plan’ to ‘Make America Great Again’ through ‘raping’ other countries is not going to fly. He faces a stiff battle with the ‘Neocons’ in the ‘Uniparty’ which is ruling the US, people in Europe which will be left holding the bill, and those in Ukraine, as the people over there, who lost loved ones, friends, family and their standard of living in a failed attempt to topple Putin and to allow the banks in the ‘Collective West’ to rule the earth, will be mighty angry. Hence the need to put lipstick on that pig. With the obvious risk that a deal such as I envision is not going to be possible if too many people decide to go on. Thus I find it difficult to expose these things out of fear that it will kill the deal itself, because it cannot be ‘sold’ as a victory.
Clearly I’m speculating just like everybody else, not under contract to spread falsehoods like those in the ‘mainstream media’ with their ‘sources’, ‘pundits’ and ‘experts’, and maybe I’m misreading the situation. But I don’t think so. And while sharing this with my readers is risky, since it may result in growing opposition to concluding this madness, I feel strongly that I *need* to draw attention to what is right before our eyes, although we refuse to look at it, and call out the ‘Naked Emperor’ like a small child, not bound by conventions, because we simply cannot go on with this fiction, and hope to prosper, or leave a sound society behind for our children and grandchildren. Pick your poison.
