Did you see the pictures of Ursula as she inspected the New Iron Curtain in Poland? Now I don't know about you, but that fence didn't look like it was going to stop the Russian army. But how about keeping us in? Same with the many millions of mines countries like Finland, the Baltic nations, and Poland ordered, stepping away from treaties they signed. Ridiculous you say?
Let me explain. The narrative is that Russia is going to go down. Yet, at the same time, they tell us that this country which is going to be defeated real soon will come knocking at the gate in a few years time. That cannot both be correct. On these pages I've stated that NATO is already defeated. Yes, NATO. Not Ukraine. Ukraine was defeated years ago, but NATO propped it up, gave it money, more money, training and weapons, until they ran out of stuff to give, running the war out of Wiesbaden. Those are the facts. I got them from our own media, and Rutte telling the world that all of NATO couldn't produce in a year what Russia produces in three months. Or would he be lying about that as well?
Though Ukraine *is* preparing for a major overhaul of their military, commentators who actually studied war feel strongly that it is too little, too late anyway, *even* if they would be able to find the manpower. At the moment Ukraine is advancing in some areas, using Colombian mercenaries and the like, while Russia is advancing elsewhere. It is extremely difficult to find usable information about who *controls* what, since a guy waving a flag, be it Russian or Ukrainian, is taken as proof that the area is under control. The Russians recently published a map, which was showing the territory under control, according to the Russians. But though there were some minor differences with maps published by 'LiveUA', these days under Ukrainian government control, those differences were not earth-shattering.
There is an offer on the table to settle this conflict, on Russia's terms, limited to handing over four Oblasts for those focussing on territory, of which they already control around eighty percent. By my reckoning the Russians won the war of attrition, exhausting NATO as the party providing all the weapons since 2022, from their own stock, and whatever they were able to buy around the world, but not all that many sellers. Why was that? Well, look at the pictures coming out of China these days. The non-NATO world is uniting against us. They've had enough of us. And who could blame them?
Anyway, there still is this 'Coalition of the Willing', the most hateful European countries and Nazi-applauding Canada, led by 'Brussels' in the broadest sense. Both the non-elected EU commissars, and NATO secretary general Mark Rutte. Though they will tell you that they are going to be inside Ukraine the moment the shooting stops, one country after the other is saying they won't. Poland, Italy and Germany pulled back from that idea, each with its own excuses, but I believe them. Some expert went on television to show that around 300.000 European troops would be needed. Even if the UK and France donate everything they've got, they are nowhere *near* that number. Moreover, Trump, asked by a journalist how the US would be willing to contribute, ruled out 'boots on the ground', but he might dispatch one or two aircraft in support, which wouldn't be stationed inside Ukraine. Literally. And only if Europe pays the bills……..
There is no denying the fact that those European countries are desperate to keep the war going, until the last Ukrainian. That is, they have no plan on how to turn the war around, although various uninformed zealots maintain that the Russian economy may collapse any moment now. In part due to successful strikes on Russian refineries and a few military targets, using a new cruise-missile, formally 'Made in Ukraine', but according many observers 'Made in Germany' and assembled in Ukraine, hence the 'V-1 Look'. Don't know about that, although setting up and maintaining a working plant to create complex weapon systems from scratch does sound implausible, given the massive strikes performed by Russia, day in, and day out, reaching every corner of Ukraine with ease, destroying one factory after the other.
Like I offered previously, the assumption within this 'Coalition of the Willing' *has* to be that Russia will *not* take any of the territory controlled by the NeoNazi's which hate their guts. And, as I've said from before the SMO, I *agree* with that assessment, which also explains their slow progress, because they are not fighting a war of conquest, though they *may* move past those four Oblasts, all the way to Odessa, but let's wait and see. Thus, what the 'Coalition of the Willing' is planning, is to prevent a settlement at all cost, and treat Russia to another 'Afghanistan scenario', using the Ukrainians like they used the Taliban and the Saudi extremists back in the eighties, and again just before this provoked war in Ukraine kicked into gear. And let them drop dead after Russia collapsed, like they did with their 'friends' in Afghanistan back in the day. But the conflicts are not comparable in a military sense just yet. There is still an old fashioned frontline. But already the militia contracted to 'be Al Qaeda' change their focus to hitting Russia itself, both civilian and economic targets, and military targets if they must.
To fight terrorists is far from easy, but Putin led the way in Chechnya, and emerged victorious. The key in that war, with NATO pumping the Chechen extremists at the time, was a 'No Holds Barred' approach, while seeking Muslim leaders in Chechnya interested in having a semi-autonomous homeland within the Russian federation. Eventually it will have to come to that in Ukraine as well, if Zelensky stubbornly refuses to accept that he has been used and abused, and lost. The killing of Parubiy, a key NeoNazi figure in the 'Maidan Regime Change Operation' as 'speaker of the Rada', and allegedly photographed with the sniper rifles used to fire at both Berkut and protestors, to put 'fire in the hole' for Nuland's coup, might be a sign that developments in that direction are already on their way. Meanwhile, Europe, which shot itself in the head, and acts like an entity which is braindead, is going to suffer *badly* from all the miscalculations, as it managed to turn every BRICS-country into a mortal enemy, licking Trump's backside, calling him 'daddy', and agreeing to tariffs, having to buy weapons in the US, and paying for the war with Russia till the last dime. Soon they will be forced to forego buying refined oil from India too, and let go of the last drops of affordable Russian energy still being imported, sinking the European economy, or what is left of it. And if Trump fails to 'secure' Venezuela, as he clearly intends to do, all hell breaks loose in the energy markets.
Now you know why I feel strongly that this fence, and those minefields, separating us from BRICS, are not meant to make sure Russia won't invade us, but to prevent us from leaving, as every last dime is taken from us to pay for all of this, without a friend in the world. And soon enough, a hostile Ukraine on our borders, run by people who woke up one day to see what we've been doing to them. After erasing the immediate threat from terrorists, with the help of the remaining Ukrainians, likely assisted by those now residing in Europe, understanding they were played like a fiddle, Europe will be a 'Hell-Hole', likely with countries going to war with each other, and refugees wanting to escape, stopped by the New Iron Curtain Frau von der Leyen inspected this week.
