What am I missing? And does it even matter?
In my essay yesterday, I hi-lighted some ‘unusual facts’ which are not part of the shared narrative. It happened as described, there is proof, but we prefer the shared fiction, which is our common reference, because these pieces of the puzzle do not fit. We cast them aside, and anyone who keeps drawing attention to them as well. They are ‘conspiracy theorists’. Which is not to say that there are no serious weirdos ‘out there’, spinning narratives which are nowhere near anything we observed, ever. Some are extremely delusional, others are cynics, trying to capture critical thinkers to expose them as untrustworthy, because they, at one time, seemed to believe the BS spread around for that particular purpose. We perfected the art to ‘play’ with the minds of others, unaware that we are just as vulnerable.
To investigate what is real, and what is BS, you need to take something serious to begin with. That is already dangerous, because you may end up being accused of being a ‘conspiracy theorist’ or a ‘Putin apologists’ when you do. Yet very weird things happen, and they are either ‘under-reported’, or left out of the accepted narrative altogether because nobody notices. Almost inconsequential things by the looks of it. A coincidence. Nothing to see here folks! Move on!
When Trump and his ‘MAGA’-crowd drove their truck over Hillary Rodham Clinton (HRC), they unearthed all kinds of nefarious things about her and the DNC, and one thing they threw at her was what went down in Benghazi, Libya, where her people got murdered by the same Jihadi’s she just gave the reigns of the country, because that American team was busy transferring weapons to Jihadists in Syria for the next round of ‘color revolution’ upsets, and something went wrong. While trying to rub the stench from her time in office under Obama, she became exasperated, and blurted: ‘What does it even matter!?!’ In a way she was right, because it became a footnote in the official history of her failed campaign, and nobody went to jail. Nor did the US and NATO change course. With her, or with Trump at the helm that behemoth continued down the road to self-destruction. At least, from my perspective. Any changes were superficial at best.
Today you may not only pick up your favorite narrative from vlogs and blogs, and believe stupid things, far removed from reality, but our leaders are literally all over the place themselves, as they maintain that they are winning the war with Russia on the territory of Ukraine, while at the same time warning us that Russia will be ready to invade Europe in a matter of two to five years. These narratives cannot both be true, but somehow they make it to the ‘mainstream media’, and most people believe every word. Though I need to be careful here, because this war with Russia is extremely ‘unconventional’. It is entirely possible that Russia is set to win the war on the battlefield, but will collapse economically, thus offering NATO a victory after all, if it is still standing. But that is not what it looks like at all from where I am sitting. On the contrary, a military victory for Russia seems to be all but assured already, while the ‘Collective West’ is set to collapse economically.
So, what am I missing?
In Colombia a mysterious ‘Buga’-sphere hovered and ‘flew’ low over an area before ‘landing’. Authorities are since trying to figure out what this mysterious object is, and who made it? I’m not going to add my two cents worth speculating about the origins, but since US scientists rushed to see it, and inspect it, I have to assume they didn’t produce it. With reference to HRC’s remark I can see how all these wars we are focussing on are merely distractions, if advanced technology we are not aware of produced some kind of ‘anti-gravity’ device, and if the producer and operator is not some kind of alien from outer space, but a country. If that is the case, where does that leave us? We need to be prepared for technological advances driven by the ‘AI’-revolution which are truly mind-boggling. Way too fast to keep up with. That was the message Raymond Kurzweil tried to convey when he wrote ‘The Singularity is Near’. On the other hand, some nifty ‘toy’, a ‘hoax’, could distract us from winning wars by pulling our attention into directions which will make us go mad, if we are not yet ready for the asylum as it is, because we lost touch with the real world.
What bothers me, is that our leaders, political and military, appear to be lost in translation themselves. Spouting nonsense related to the ongoing wars, not understanding the Russian strategy, offering kill-ratios which favor ‘our side’ which are not merely unrealistic, but out-of-the-ballpark fiction, and unable to grasp the changes in military and economic power which are upon us, as they post rants and raves on social media, threatening to nuke the planet and be done with it. Back in the day when Bill Clinton was president, a man named Vince Foster died under suspicious circumstances. He was close to the Clintons and was working in the White House. A journalist named Norman, working for Forbes, unearthed that Foster and Hillary were caught selling secrets to Israel, sharing a Swiss bank account. Among those secrets sold, Norman said, were the launch codes for an all out nuclear war. Nobody challenged him. He was simply ignored and fired by Forbes, which refused to publish anything. It was published, but in an ‘obscure’ corner of the media landscape where it received little traction. Something similar happened related to selling secrets to China through a host of ‘go-betweens’, with China supporting the DNC illegally through ‘cut-outs’. A key figure, Ron Brown, and his staff died in an odd plane crash in Croatia as the ball started rolling. Footnotes to the official narrative, but likely far more consequential than anyone cares to admit today.
Simply yelling: ‘Get your head out of your arse, and smell the roses!’ is not going to make a difference anymore. We are past that. Like with this ‘USS Liberty’ story, which provided Johnson the excuse to support Israel, the perpetrator, in an impossible twist, but there was no way back, apparently. Sold and paid for. As we built our narrative on lies and mistakes, but kept building, and kept adding lies and mistakes, we ended up with a fictional world-view which is no match for reality. At least, that is my perception. This train is going off the rails at high speed. Unless……
Unless what? I can’t see it. NATO is done. The EU is committed to kill itself economically and socially. And if there is a plan which trumps all the failed plans offering grandiose vistas of a Unipolar future with our bankers at the helm, I can’t see it. Threatening to nuke Russia? Really? Sanctioning China, India and Brazil and isolating Europe and the US from those productive countries? Really? Okay, I can see why these Egg-Heads in those ‘Think Tanks’ are obsessed with war to conquer the countries which ‘own’ us, through our mountain of ‘debt’, and which produce all the stuff we need, since we can no longer produce that ourselves, while that group of countries is in possession of all the minerals and affordable resources we need to give it a go and reinvent ourselves as useful to humanity in a very *real* sense.
How did it come to this?
Pointing to a single remark in an interview doesn’t tell the full story, obviously, but I like to refer my readers to Suskind’s interview with an anonymous individual who was part of the ‘Bush-Administration’, who declared that ‘reality based policies’ were a thing of the past, since the US was an ‘Empire’ now. He told Suskind that they, our ruling class, acted the way they saw fit, and we, the dumb folks, the peasants, could discuss it as much as we wanted, and then they would act again, and we could discuss that, but nothing we said or did would have any impact at all, post ‘9/11’. I think he was right, save for the fact that people outside our ‘Western Sphere of Influence’ rejected that concept, and began planning their own future. We, in the ‘Collective West’, didn’t pay any attention to those ‘Gasstations’ and ‘Factories’ pretending to be countries. Not only that, but we openly planned our conquest of ‘Persia’, how to destroy Libya, Syria, Iraq and Ukraine for our benefit, and publishing those plans in bold print, since we were simply untouchable. Backed by the most powerful military alliance in the history of mankind, as Rutte said.
Though our counterparts in the developing ‘BRICS’-part of the world warned us again and again, those warnings didn’t even make it to the ‘mainstream media’. As a people we were unaware of it. It happened alright, like what happened to Foster and Brown, but we stuffed it and continued down our chosen path. All these warnings, and proof of advanced weaponry developed by countries like Iran, Russia and China, and even India, never became part of our narrative. Footnotes at best. We were an ‘Empire’ now.
New plans emerge as the original plans failed miserably to deliver. Trump’s plan was to lure Russia into a cease-fire, decapitate Iran, and take on China, before returning to Russia, while Europe would be left with containing the Russians. That failed as well. So now what? We’ve got this NATO general who suggested ‘taking’ Kaliningrad, in line with ideas floating around in the countries bordering the Baltic Sea, dreaming of expanding into Russian and Belorussian territory on the wings of F-35 jets. In the case of that general likely an attempt to make Russia transfer troops to that part of the Russian Federation because of an imagined imminent threat, providing much needed relief for the Ukrainians, same as with all the posturing on the borders with Russia and Belarus through exercises. Far more dangerous is the plan to sabotage or attack Russian oil tankers to deliberately create an environmental disaster, blame it on the Russians, or Ukraine, and use that event as an excuse to board and deny Russian tankers passage through critical waterways, or even on the oceans. It was a plan exposed by the Russian secret service, allegedly concocted by the British secret service, obtained through classical spy-craft, but as we’ve seen with ‘Northstream’, and the sinking of a Russian cargo ship carrying critical hatches for new nuclear powered ice-breakers as it passed through the Mediterranean, they are most certainly capable of doing something like that. However, do not expect a similar, almost lethargic response by the Russians, and other ‘BRICS’-countries if that happens.
The problem is that the ‘Emperor’ is naked, but we insist on complimenting him/her/them/it with their exquisite attire. All narrative, no means, and tons of debt. To *believe’ that you are all-powerful to act as you see fit, is not the same as an assured win if you pick a fight with countries in the *real* world. I might be wrong, but I don’t think I am. Yet it doesn’t matter one iota because we are stuck in a narrative about being ‘God’s Gift to Mankind’, because everybody wants ‘pride-celebrations’ and more entertainment………….
