Imagine that you book a flight from Detroit, your home town, to LA to do some urgent business. You hop on the flight, the captain tells you to sit back and relax, informs you about the flight time, and the weather forecast in LA, and after a couple of hours you arrive, but not in LA. You are in Atlanta, and when you ask what happened, everybody is staring at you, unable to understand why you ask. You point out that you fully expected to be in LA by now. The company representative shrugs, and says Atlanta is close enough.
You check in to the hospital to have your appendix removed, and as you wake up, your right leg is gone, but your appendix is still there.
Now watch THIS video to see how two high ranking former US generals sold the war with Russia on the territory of Ukraine to us, in close cooperation with the 'Established Media', and conclude that *nothing* they predicted ever happened. In these examples above, I'd say you would pick another airline next time, and would never trust that hospital again. So why are we collectively mesmerised by those 'Experts' in military matters which fail to deliver?
Same thing with politicians. And why are these 'Media-Outlets' pushing those narratives, *knowing* they are false? Or at least knowing from experience that quoting these 'Experts' is bound to get you burned? It is no longer 'food for thought'. Those of us wanting to end up in LA when we book a flight to that city, and who want to have their appendix removed before they end up with peritonitis are taking precautions, while looking for ways to create 'incentives' to preclude ending up in Atlanta, or without a leg, through 'professional standards', and legal charges if companies or quacks cause serious harm anyway.
Now then, on this blog I've pointed my readers to published plans, written by 'Experts', on how to 'Overextend and Destabilise Russia from Advantageous Ground', a plan carried by those generals featuring in that video, and a truckload of politicians and 'Media Pundits' on both sides of the Atlantic. It went off the rails, and *we* are 'Overextended and Unbalanced', and making matters worse with every additional step. Way too many people somehow believe that, because 'Experts' told us that Russia will lose, it will be thus, even though it not only takes longer than 'expected', but in essence everything is moving in the *opposite* direction.
Note that, though I frequently refer my readers to that ill fated Rand Corp strategy, which was extremely cynical to begin with, and should not even have been implemented for that reason, that plan was not the point of departure of that endeavour. When Putin went to Munich in 2007, and warned his 'friends in NATO' that expanding the alliance further East would result in a conflict, even war with Russia eventually, what did NATO do? It *immediately* invited Ukraine and Georgia to come and join them, somewhere in the future.
NATO *wanted* war with Russia. The 2019 Rand Corp strategy was not the first sign of that desire. It was an attempt to prevent another embarrassment, after the 2014 regime change operation and civil war ended in a disaster. Hopping on one leg from Atlanta to LA to meet our business associates, and get our appendix removed after all, is madness, but here we are.
By the time we arrive in LA, *if* we are going to make it, those business associates are bound to have struck a deal with someone else. Ursula von der Leyen is now touring the EU-countries bordering with Russia and Belarus, visiting 'Drone Factories' in Estonia and the like, while the *real* economy of the EU is sinking like a ton of bricks, and our proxy-war with Russia in Ukraine is going South. The EU in particular has to import almost *everything* to produce 'Drones' and other weapon systems, since Europe has no raw materials to speak of, and 'Higher Education' has been directed towards producing people who are 'Experts' in the 'Arts' and a flurry of other 'liberal sciences' relying on your ability to sell narratives in order to produce 'consensus', which you can do without in a war. Or when you want to rebuild your economy. That is not all. In the US the courts are striking down the tariffs Trump imposed on countries as illegal. But the 25% percent tariff on European goods was not *imposed*, it was 'negotiated' by Ursula von der Leyen, and thus they stand.
In that environment, the EU is now set to impose 'secondary sanctions' on countries buying oil from Russia, which is what the EU is doing too, even to this day. So, you are out on your journey from Atlanta towards LA, hopping along on one leg, and you decide to add a scenic detour that will take you over the highest peaks in the Rockies. What could go wrong?
Now consider, for a moment, that even *if* these 'secondary sanctions' would succeed to convince some countries to accompany us on our trip to LA, and Russia would be left with 'unsold oil', how exactly is that going to hurt their war effort? China is not going to join us on our disastrous trip, no matter what. And since Modi didn't even bother to pick up the phone when Trump tried to contact him, four times in a row, we can safely assume that we've lost India too. Moreover, if these industrial powerhouses are losing our business, don't you think they will grow even *more* eager to lend Russia a helping hand? But even if that would not be the case, being unable to sell oil doesn't hurt Russia's ability to produce weapons and keep its economy going, since the country is essentially an autarky. It can go on and on and on indefinitely, feeding and clothing the people, providing shelter, *and* fighting NATO in Ukraine with state-of-the-art weapons if they must, shifting manpower from the oil-industry, and other mining companies, to build homes, produce weapons, fight on the frontlines, because they do not need to import *anything* out of necessity.
Sure, Russia doesn't *want* this war to continue. It never wanted this war in the first place. That was NATO, as I explained above. But if they *have* to, they will fight us till the bitter end. And that is unlikely going to be until we reach LA on one leg and discover that our business partners took a hike. We won't last that long. Set aside the encouragement provided by the 'Experts', and use your common sense.
