The attack on Iran came and went. According to Iran it was a dud. A couple of soldiers died, and no doubt some of the missiles launched hit their designated target, but certainly nothing anywhere near the traumatizing experience the Israeli chief of staff had promised. Russian S-400 air defense missiles intercepted scores of Israeli missiles, launched from Israeli aircraft which did stay well clear of Iranian territory. The attack was facilitated by NATO, which made their tanker-aircraft available to allow the Israeli aircraft carrying the missiles to get within range.
The Israeli story is different, as we might expect, celebrating a hugely successful operation which should serve as a deterrent for Iranian retaliation against Israel. In other words, if Iran doesn’t launch a new series of missiles at Israel soon, that could be because they live in fear and are effectively deterred. Or they shrug it off because this was laughable, and they already made their point previously, with their own missile strike, which did not require in-flight refueling of aircraft in a complicated operation, since they were using long-range ballistic missiles, some of which hypersonic in the terminal stage, a weapon not yet available in the west, and easily outsmarting air defense systems in sufficient quantities to deliver a clear message. In fact, the only possible air defense system capable of doing anything against those hypersonic missiles Iran, and Russia are using, is reported to be the THAAD-system, which has been transferred from the US to Israel in a hurry before this strike, of which there are precious few in service.
Apparently the Jordanians are pissed off at the US because Blinken cannot be trusted to put pressure on Israel to stop the slaughter in Gaza and Lebanon, and it likely didn’t help that Israel and NATO violated their airspace, as well as that of Iraq to reach the designated launching positions for their attack on Iran. NATO cannot afford to go on abusing other countries like this. The highly successful ‘BRICS’-summit in Kazan has everybody talking. The days where everybody wanted to get into the EU and NATO are over. Despite fierce opposition from all the NGO’s on the payroll of the ‘Collective West’, the ‘Georgian Dream’ party, no favorite of Ursula von der Leyen and her non-elected team steering the EU into the ground, won the elections in the country. And in Moldova the acting head of state, and fan of von der Leyen, had to resort to ‘tricks’ to secure a very narrow approval of incorporating her desire to hand over the keys of her country to 'Brussels' in the constitution. Why something like that would have to be part of the constitution, while the EU doesn’t even have one, is beyond me. Anyway, by excluding 495.000 Moldovans living in Russia from voting, sending only 5.000 ballots for half a million people, she secured the narrowest possible majority in favor. And in Europe we call this ‘democracy’.
As I was watching one of the channels I use to inform me about developments in Ukraine, ‘YouTube’ kindly drew my attention to a ‘competing’ channel which featured Ben Hodges, the American general who was commanding the troops in Europe at the time Ukraine tried to take the ‘Donbas’ by force, and failed spectacularly. The accompanying teaser read that Ben Hodges insisted that taking Crimea had to be completed before Ukraine/NATO would be able to claim victory. While listening to the narrative of this vlogger I was tuned into, I kept staring at Ben Hodges, in his pitch black shirt, staring at me from the screenshot, and I found myself wondering if the man even had a brain. He clearly fucked up back in 2014/2015, as the NATO-controlled Ukrainian army got caught in a cauldron at Debaltseve. Several cauldrons all along the frontlines today, again with NATO-generals ‘advising’ the Ukrainians, with one cauldron in Kursk reportedly set up for the North Koreans as ‘target practice’, and this Hodges NAFO-fellow is demanding that the Ukrainians take Crimea, as well as all the rest. When? How? Why not send a team to his home to convince him to take a psychiatric evaluation? And take the other former NATO-generals cheering for Ukraine with you.
This may hurt, but I’m struggling to suppress the feeling that these ‘high ranking military men’, some with a ‘distinguished service record’, sold out to the enemy, not being the Russians. A bit like that Pogo cartoon: ‘I’ve met the enemy, and he is us’. Or am I missing something? Something crucially important, right in front of my very eyes, while I’m unable to see it? Too big rather than too small. What if all of this is some clever ploy to strip us of our wealth, and exhaust us, before delivering us on the altar of a new globalist routine? Sounds way too weird, and I don’t believe in such overarching conspiracies, but who turned all those former and acting NATO-generals into drones? I mean, remember this military guy in Iraq at the time, who was ‘briefing’ the press, ‘Bagdad Bob’, or ‘Admiral General Aladeen’ as portrayed by Sacha Baron Cohen? Who are these clowns imitating those comedians? What kind of ‘perversion of justice’ is this?
For some time now I’ve ‘acted’ as a commentator on this blog. Unlike most other commentators I do not have to to make a living out of it. For me all of this is dead serious. I want to put a stop to it. I do not enjoy it. I’d like to go on with my life, feeling safe, and close the door on all of this. When I watch those channels which enlighten me, I’m aware of the fact that very real people died. That it is not a *show* I’m watching. There actually is a channel listed as the ‘Military Show’, offering pro-Ukrainian comments. Imagine sitting down to consider a proper name for a video channel about the war in Ukraine, and you come up with the ‘brilliant’ title, the ‘Military Show’, with no less than 1.13 million subscribers. Wouldn’t you think these individuals saw way too many Hollywood productions to be a reliable source?
In a similar vein, I’m infrequently watching ‘Talk Shows’ where they invite ‘experts’ to talk about the wars we are engaged in. Same disconnected feeling, if the ‘expert’ is chatting with all the other guests about everything in a very ‘light’ conversational tone, having fun, and pleased with the money handed to him or her to appear on the ‘show’, or this wonderful chance to promote his or her book, or political party. And all I can think is that they would be horrified to learn peace broke out, and they are no longer needed. Aren’t we all canaries in the coal-mine? And only after we all drop dead, because of all the toxic fumes, they will open that worthless pit to let some fresh air in. I for one do not think that it is an ‘Astonishingly Good Idea’ to let the mad-scientists, -politicians and -generals run this ‘Show’. Calling on all canaries to sing a different tune.
